'Breaking New Ground' is the motto of the Light + Building trade fair, which is finally taking place again this year after a long break due to the pandemic. As the leading international trade fair, Light + Building is the platform for the lighting and building technology industry. The focus is on the latest developments in intelligent applications, networking, forward-looking technologies for the climate-friendly use of buildings and current design trends.
In line with the motto 'Breaking New Ground', Wöhner will also be showing its innovations and highlights for intelligent energy distribution. Because in view of recent world political events, topics such as sustainability and energy efficiency are even more in the foreground than they already are, especially in the building sector. Wöhner's portfolio contains the components to build energy distribution systems that enable an energy-efficient turnaround. Energy-efficient products and the energy-efficient operation of a control cabinet are therefore also the focus of Wöhner's product exhibition. In addition to the basic systems, Wöhner will present innovations from the fields of measurement technology and digitalization.

The 60Classic is space-saving and also offers a very large selection of components. Depending on the requirements, busbars with different cross-sections can be used; this allows currents up to a maximum of 2500A. Thanks to IEC and UL approvals, it is also ideally suited for international use and can also be used as a 4-pole system with appropriate expansion - an absolute must-have in every control cabinet.

Intelligent functions and connectivity are playing an increasingly important role in power distribution and especially in the control cabinet. Our focus is on ensuring safety as well as efficiency and sustainability on a consistent and also forward-looking basis. The collection and evaluation of data forms the basis for providing and using information on the quality, performance and consumption of the power grid.
With new modules for monitoring the control cabinet, Wöhner is expanding its measurement technology portfolio and will in future cover the entire measurement chain - measuring, analyzing, visualizing, communicating, responding. Following the fully integrated solutions MOTUS®C14 and OMUS®C14 and the modular measuring adapter CrossMT, the new solutions are available for the DIN mounting rail and direct installation in the control cabinet door.
With the new CrossMT electronic measurement technology adapter, Wöhner completes its entry into the digitalisation of its successful basic system, CrossBoard®. In combination with a wide range of applications, the CrossMT adds intelligent functions and connectivity for various components in the cabinet.
The CrossMT measures current, voltage and temperature and derives additional quantities from these values such as power, energy, phase angle and frequency and can then output this data over various communication interfaces (USB-C, digital inputs/outputs, IO-Link). Status LEDs on the top and bottom of the device provide users with a clear overview.
