Design is a strategic success factor for us. From 6 to 11 June, we will be providing insights into the design of our production processes at our main site in Rödental as part of the Coburg Design Days under the motto "Invisible Design".
From 6 to 11 June, the Coburg Design Days will once again open its doors and invite visitors to exchange ideas, experience and try things out. The Coburg Design Days serve as a place of inspiration and as a platform for networking ideas, projects, ambitions and creative minds.
This year, the Coburg Design Days are taking place at a new location: The Kulturfabrik Cortendorf is being built piece by piece on the site of the old "Porzellanfabrik Griesbach", which will offer plenty of space for culture, creativity and art in the future. The Kulturfabrik comes to life with the start of the Coburg Design Days.
Be inspired and informed by the design exhibition, get creative at workshops and enjoy the dialogue with designers and artists. A varied supporting programme rounds off the Coburg Design Days: From concerts and round-table discussions to interesting courses, there is plenty to experience. And a wide range of catering options will cater for your physical well-being.

This year, we are once again supporting the Coburg Design Days and are represented with an exhibition on the subject of "Production and Industrial Design". Design is a strategic success factor for us. Graphic and product design are the result of a deeper understanding of design, in which the design of work processes, workflows and procedures in production and logistics plays a central role.

Forward-looking planning
The process begins with a customer order, followed by the creation of a sales plan for orientation, demand planning, processing of customer orders and prioritisation of production according to A, B and C articles.
Networked processes
Production and material procurement are networked and automated, components and materials are prioritised for procurement, especially for A/B items.
The Kulturfabrik Cortendorf will offer plenty of space for art and culture in the Upper Franconia region in the future. During the extension of the old porcelain factory, the energy distribution of the building complex is also being redesigned and modernised. We are equipping the new switch cabinets with our products in order to supply the cultural and artistic life in the Kulturfabrik Cortendorf with energy in the future.
