Regional handball club with national success

HSC 2000 Coburg

As a regional handball club, HSC 2000 Coburg plays in the second national handball league and travels throughout Germany. With numerous teams in the men's and youth divisions, the club is closely rooted in the region and stands for top sporting performance and great talent.

Development of HSC 2000 Coburg

The founding of the Coburg handball club in 2000 marked the start of HSC 2000 Coburg. In a joint concept, a large handball club emerged from several regional handball departments and with it the beginning of a success story. Thanks to the combined forces of the merger and a number of new additions, the handball team was promoted to the regional league right from the start. After further important successes, such as the Bavarian championship, another important step followed in 2007: the construction of their own arena in Coburg. Strengthened by its past successes and with great ambitions, HSC 2000 Coburg climbed up the handball leagues step by step with the support of regional sponsors and a strong following, so that the handball team is now playing at the top and has already won two first division titles.
